Biografie
Vincent van Reen is a guitarist, singer and songwriter from the Netherlands. Ever since he picked up
his father’s guitar at the tender age of 6, he has been influenced by the melodic songwriting of James
Taylor, the flamboyant guitar playing of Tommy Emmanuel, and the powerful fusion of storytelling
and music by progressive rock artists like Steven Wilson.
His lyrics are miniature stories with a twist. Using his warm baritone he sings about love, loss and
watching your dreams crumble and fall, while awkwardly stumbling into adulthood.
A guitarist at heart, Vincent is constantly looking for new and exciting ways to make his guitar sing,
using them to fill his shows with unexpected sounds and musical textures. Yet he always stays true to
his main goal; reaching out to the audience with his stories.
